Meet our Farmers
The typical food chain:
Our ingredients are sourced responsibly and grown by family farms within a 100km of Toronto. Over the years we have built direct relationships with the local farmers allowing us to set the highest standards for the ingredients as well as develop a more sustainable food system. We cut out the food terminal, warehouse & grocery store and make it real simple. We buy directly from the farmers. We want you to meet our farmers, understand where our ingredients come from. We buy from family farms and always looking to work with new farmers.

We also source cacao from Chocosol Traders. Chocosol is a organic, vegan, sugar and nut free bean to bar company located in Toronto. They supply us with most of our chocolate needs, we use their cacao in many forms, from ground cacao beans to chunks of chocolate. Their chocolate is used in a wide selection of our goods. But we do not only get chocolate from Chocosol, they also supply us with organic sugars like raw cane sugar and coconut sugar.
We source some of our berries from Oakridges Finest. Also during the end of winter as the sap starts flowing we assist our fellow farmer in making the 2017, 2018 & 2020 batch of syrup. We use syrup our maple butter tarts. We also sell the syrup, boiled over an open fire.
